  12. ** Known Issues **
  13.  
  14. All Users :
  15. - It's highly recommended that you don't use ALT-TAB during the game (to 
  16.   switch to another application), as this could make the game unstable.
  17. - Some video cards based on the Savage3D chipset are not compatible with 
  18.   Open Kart.
  19.  
  20. DirectX 8.0 installation :
  21. - Open Kart needs DirectX 8.0 or later to run properly. If it's not already
  22.   installed on your computer, please download it from microsoft's web site:
  23.   http://www.microsoft.com/directx/

  25. Antivirus Users :
  26. - If you are running Panda Antivirus, your system may freeze when exiting 
  27.   Open Kart.
  28. - For optimal performance, it's recommended that you disable all 
  29.   anti-virus software, as well as all other Windows applications, before
  30.   launching Open Kart.

  32. Windows 95 users :
  33. - When booting-up Open Kart, you may receive the message "DLL missing 
  34.   WS_32.DLL". This can be fixed by installing the Windows Socket update,
  35.   downloadable from http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/contents/
  36.   wuadmintools/s_wunetworkingtools/w95sockets2/

  38. Windows Millenium users :
  39. - Direct3d compatibility is suspect. Please make sure all of your hardware
  40.   is compatible by running the DirectX test program "dxdiag.exe". In the 
  41.   "Display" tab, the graphics tests must function correctly.

  43. Windows 2000 users :
  44. - Write permissions must be enabled for the "Kart" folder in order to save
  45.   players and championships.
  46. - In order to use a force-feedback control wheel, you should have the most
  47.   recent drivers loaded.
  48. - GeForce2 MX users should use Microsoft-certified drivers; there may be 
  49.   display problems (flashes) otherwise.
  50. - "Sticky Keys" (enabled by default under Windows 2000) will cause Open Kart
  51.   to crash when the SHIFT, CTRL or ALT key are pressed several times.
