- Thank you for trying the demo version of Open Kart by Micro∩ds.

-
- ** Known Issues **
-
- All Users :
- - It's highly recommended that you don't use ALT-TAB during the game (to
- switch to another application), as this could make the game unstable.
- - Some video cards based on the Savage3D chipset are not compatible with
- Open Kart.
-
- DirectX 8.0 installation :
- - Open Kart needs DirectX 8.0 or later to run properly. If it's not already
- installed on your computer, please download it from microsoft's web site:
-
- Antivirus Users :
- - If you are running Panda Antivirus, your system may freeze when exiting
- Open Kart.
- - For optimal performance, it's recommended that you disable all
- anti-virus software, as well as all other Windows applications, before
- launching Open Kart.
-
- Windows 95 users :
- - When booting-up Open Kart, you may receive the message "DLL missing
- WS_32.DLL". This can be fixed by installing the Windows Socket update,
- downloadable from http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/contents/
- wuadmintools/s_wunetworkingtools/w95sockets2/
-
- Windows Millenium users :
- - Direct3d compatibility is suspect. Please make sure all of your hardware
- is compatible by running the DirectX test program "dxdiag.exe". In the
- "Display" tab, the graphics tests must function correctly.
-
- Windows 2000 users :
- - Write permissions must be enabled for the "Kart" folder in order to save
- players and championships.
- - In order to use a force-feedback control wheel, you should have the most
- recent drivers loaded.
- - GeForce2 MX users should use Microsoft-certified drivers; there may be
- display problems (flashes) otherwise.
- - "Sticky Keys" (enabled by default under Windows 2000) will cause Open Kart
- to crash when the SHIFT, CTRL or ALT key are pressed several times.
